I have been burned by a web designer before. Why would this go differently?
Because the order is reversed. You see the finished site on a preview link before any money changes hands, and you pay only if you want it. Delays on our side take 10% off the invoice automatically, and every agreement is in writing.
How quickly will my site be live?
Starter goes live 7 days after we receive your questionnaire, texts and photos. Business takes 14 days, Flagship 21–28 days. The clock starts the day your materials arrive, so the fastest way to launch is to send them early.
Why is the price on the website?
Because you should be able to compare before writing to anyone. $500, $1,000 and $1,500 are the real prices for the scopes listed. If your project needs more, you get the new number in writing before you commit.
What exactly does 'pay only if you like it' mean?
We build the whole site and show it to you on a private link. If you approve it, you pay once and it goes live. If you do not, you pay nothing and the work stays with us. If we hear nothing for 14 days after sending the preview, we treat it as approved and send the invoice.
Do we need to get on a call?
No. Everything happens by email, in English: the questionnaire, the previews, your change requests and the approval. You get a reply within one business day. Written decisions also mean nothing gets lost.
Who hosts the site and what does it cost per month?
The site runs on a free Cloudflare account registered to you, so hosting costs $0 a month. The only recurring cost is your domain name, about $11–30 a year at your registrar, also in your name.
What if something breaks after launch?
Starter and Business include 7 days of free fixes, Flagship 60. A fix is anything that does not work as described in the statement of work. Later changes are $75 per hour, minimum 30 minutes, with a written estimate before we start.
Does my site have to show a cookie banner?
Usually not. Client sites ship with visitor statistics that set no cookies, so no banner is required. If you want a tool that does set cookies, such as a CRM pixel or ads tracking, we add a proper opt-in banner, like the one on this site.
How do I know the speed claims are real?
Open pagespeed.web.dev, paste bakery.leavsy.com or any site we built, and look at the mobile score. Then paste the site of any other studio you are considering. Their own site is the honest sample of their work.
Can you rebuild my existing site?
Yes. Send the address and we measure it first: speed, weight and carbon per visit. You get the numbers in writing, then a fixed price for a lighter rebuild, and the before-and-after comparison at launch.
